Hi Turtle Families,

 

Here are our heat sheets and entries for tomorrow's meet at Murabella against South Hampton.  Please print the heat sheets and bring them with you.  Combined events are in red.  Remember to write your swimmer’s name and event numbers on his or her left shoulder with a sharpie.

If your swimmer is entered in a relay on the entries sheet and has a Number 5 or higher in parentheses, he or she is an alternate for that relay.  Please check with a board member before you leave the meet when your scheduled events are completed to see if your child is needed as an alternate.

Your swimmer may be entered into an event that he or she hasn't swam before. This is because they need times for any event they might swim at champs.  We want all our swimmers to be eligible for as many events as possible at champs.  Encourage them to try their best and have fun!

Our meet will begin at 8:00am.  Fighting Turtle Swimmers should arrive no later than 6:40am, Warmups begin at 6:45am!  Please check in your swimmer upon arrival.  Volunteers should check in at the gate.

***We would like to get a team photo at tomorrow’s meet.  We will be calling all swimmers to the bridge immediately after warm ups.   This will be our best opportunity to have all our swimmers together at our pool for a photo.***

We would like to leave much of our parking lot open for our guests.  Please observe parking signs.  You may park along the street (one side only).  Carpooling is a great idea.  There will be parking attendants and signs.  Do not park on the bridge, in the circle at the Amenity Center or at the mail kiosk.  Also, please do not park at the spaces reserved for residents who are not a part of the swim team (adjacent to the Playground.)

The meet should be complete before noon, as long as the weather holds.

There will be a full concession stand, bring cash.  Plan to have hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch hot off the grill.  There will also be a Hawaiian Ice vendor.  

We ask that Fighting Turtle Swimmers who are participating in the meet, not swim in the family pool during the meet.  Save that energy for your events!

You may bring chairs and tents if you would like to set up outside the side gate.  There will also be some space on the pool deck.   

We are watching the weather and will notify you if there is any cancellation or delay.  Hopefully, the weather cooperates.  

Don't forget sunscreen and bugspray!
